Chelsea youngster Estevao scored his first ever competitive goal for the Brazilian national team in their match against Chile, which ended in a 3-0 victory. Marc Cucurella also netted for Spain in a 3-0 win over Bulgaria.

It has been a bright start to the season for the wonderkid, who has made a seamless transition into the Chelsea side. With Cole Palmer out with an injury, Estevao has been called upon to replace him in the starting team and he has done a phenomenal job so far. He has been a breath of fresh air for Chelsea fans who get filled with excitement whenever he touches the ball and why would you not be excited to watch him play. His style of football is a joy to watch, taking players on with ease and always looking like a threat. Most 18 year olds would struggle or need some time to settle, not this kid. He really looks the real deal once again impressing fans by scoring his first competitive international goal for Brazil in the win against Chile.

Brazilian Chelsea teammate Joao Pedro commented on the youngster in an interview he did before the Chile game saying "He’s from the street. You can see he is natural. Tosin (Adarabioyo) said to me: ‘Joao, wow. Estevao is amazing’. Playing for Brazil and Chelsea at 18, oh my God. He’s going to be like Vinicius Jr.” High praise from his teammate and you understand why when you watch him play. The youngster is going from strength to strength and i get the feeling he is just getting started. He deserves all the praise he is receiving at the moment and it was a good moment seeing the youngster scoring his first international goal.

Marc Cucurella was amongst the goals for Spain in a comfortable 3-0 win against Bulgaria. The left back has been immense since the euros last year and has cemented his place in the national team and also in the Chelsea side at club level. He has turned himself into a fan favourite with his character but also with the level that he is playing his football at the moment.

After a tough start to life in a Chelsea shirt, Cucurella has been rock solid and very reliable for Chelsea recently. One of Chelsea's better players right now and one of the in form full backs in world football. He cant put a foot wrong and his purchase has quickly turned into a positive move. I am also excited to see if he can elevate to a new level this year after going from strength to strength and making himself very much apart of Maresca's system.

Chelsea's start to the season: A review
We have reached the first international break of the season which means it is time to review Chelsea's opening 3 games and discuss the positives, negatives and everything in between. Chelsea go into the break in second position on the table behind Liverpool sitting on 7 points, winning 2 out of their 3 games and drawing the other one. Not a bad place to be and I, as a Chelsea fan, am certainly not complaining either. However, the only real convincing performance came away at West Ham with the g
